St Bede’s NAPLAN Schedule 2024
Next week, students in Year 3 and Year 5 will participate in the National Assessment Program in Literacy and Numeracy. Students will complete 4 tests over 2 weeks. Students have participated in multiple practice tests to ensure that they feel reassured and prepared. Other than the Year 3 Writing test which is on paper, all students will complete tests online using school ChromeBooks.
Whilst the formal testing regime can be an overwhelming and new experience, we remind our students that this is just one snapshot of their learning at one point in time. This information helps teachers to plan and provide support. We can help ourselves to achieve our best by being prepared, eating well, coming to school well rested and by maintaining routines. We wish our students all the best as they embrace the challenge. We will be here to support you along the way.
