As you may be aware, following recent notifications through media, news and the Fair Work Ombudsman, new Rights to Disconnect have been introduced in the workplace.  It is a timely reminder of Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn’s (CECG) long standing practice to ensure balance in teacher’s professional and personal commitments. 

CECG understand that parents may contact our employees outside of normal working hours concerning their child or children who attend St Bede's Primary School. However, please note that other than in exceptional circumstances, we do not expect our employees to respond to emails or phone calls from parents outside of normal working hours.

Please be mindful that in the busyness of the school day, teachers have duty of care to their students and may not be available to meet or call.  Email is the best mode of contact for non-urgent matters.  For urgent matters, please contact the office directly on 6295 6559.
