Hello St Bede's families,
I sincerely hope everyone is travelling OK.
Just a quick update for your information. I realise that the current lockdown restrictions are in place until next Thursday. Apparently, Andrew Barr will make a decision concerning whether restrictions will be lifted by the weekend depending on current case numbers and contact tracing.
The remote learning program is going extremely well. I have visited Team interactive sessions on a number of occasions and I am delighted with how engaged and interactive the students are each time.
On a positive note, there are many of our staff that have had both vaccinations and the others pursuing their first one now that they are eligible. This is making us feel more comfortable if and when we return to some sort of normality. Let's keep our fingers crossed that children will be in line for vaccinations soon.
I will keep you updated when I know more.
Due to current restrictions, First Communion has been moved to 14 November.
We encourage parents to participate with their children in the online reflective units which are being provided to families weekly via Google Classrooms and Seesaw.
