Mission Month - St Bede’s 'Sock it to Poverty' Day Friday, 5 November

Last month was Mission Month and it is an opportunity for students to engage with developing world issues and raise awareness about those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

This year the students are invited to wear silly or coloured socks with their sport uniforms. Donations to participate in the day can be made through the Qkr App.

Eucharist

Our Year 4 students are looking forward to their First Eucharist and the new date for this event is Sunday 14 November.

We will hold a retreat day next Wednesday, 10 November, and look forward to a day of celebration and reflection as the students participate in a range of experiences.

Please pray for these students as they continue their preparation.

Christmas Appeal

Christmas is just around the corner! After such successful gift giving last year, our community has been asked to donate gifts for 6 to 12 year olds.

These gifts will contribute to the Vinnies Youth Program and will provide much needed Christmas spirit to disadvantaged children.  We are asking for one quality (new) gift donation from each family but if you can give more, we would be thrilled.

All gifts should be unwrapped so that they can be sorted and distributed.

Please drop these into the front office foyer.

From Friday 5 November, the Snack Shack will be open for lunch orders only. Please note orders must be made by 5.00pm the day before via Qkr! and due to Covid restrictions, we cannot provide lunch for students who have not preordered.
