School Excursion Update (Year 4,5,6)

At this stage, preparation continues for the Year 5&6 excursion to Berry departing Wednesday 12 October, returning on Friday 14 October (2 nights). More information will be distributed on Monday 8 August. Please be aware that this excursion may need to be cancelled or postponed with short notice.
Preparation also continues for the Year 4 excursion to Birrigai on Monday 17 October returning on Tuesday 18 October (1 night). More information will be provided on Monday 8 August. Please be aware that this excursion may need to be cancelled or postponed with short notice.
Lunch Orders Update - Friday 12 August
If you login to Qkr! you will notice that you are unable to select Friday 12 August as a date to order lunch for your child/ren.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to offer our usual diverse and delicious menu on that day so as a precaution we have closed that day for ordering. We expect to offer a special lunch on that day but will advise further when details come to hand. Please watch Compass for updates.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
On Monday, students and staff at St Bede's celebrated Bastille Day. There was a lot of red, white and blue on show and everyone enjoyed a croissant. Many thanks to Madame Sood for organising this very special day.
There has been a little confusion in relation to the delivery date of uniforms ordered via the Qkr! app. Please note that uniforms will not be distributed on the day of order.
Uniforms are delivered some time in the next week after the order has been placed. This allows time for Zoe to come in and prepare the orders.
To assist in ensuring a smooth process and any confusion, we have updated the Qkr! app. You will notice when you login to make an order, you will no longer select a date for delivery. Instead you will get the message:
ORDERS WILL BE DELIVERED TO CHILD'S CLASSROOM WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK OF ORDER BEING PLACED
You will then be able to select the items you wish to purchase.
Please remember the boutique and snack shack are manned by volunteers who kindly give up their time to provide an income stream for the P&F. Without volunteers, service would be impacted significantly. Please treat them with kindness and respect at all times.
During the past couple of months there were a number of improvements undertaken at St Bede's. There will be more work in coming weeks and months as they were unable to complete everything.
