As previously advised, St Bede's will have 10 classes in 2023. The new structure will include 2 mixed age classes and this may cause an unnecessary concern for some families. If you are concerned about your child's class placement, you are invited to meet with the principal to discuss your concerns and the needs of your child. Please ring the office to organise an appointment to meet in the next 3 weeks (end of Term 3).
Please do not make any requests of classroom teachers for 2023 as class placements will be made in the interest of individual students as well as the class as a whole. Student dynamics, needs and abilities are all taken into consideration and can be a delicate balance. It is anticipated that class placements will be finalised and communicated with parents in the later part of Term 4. Once this is communicated it is extremely unlikely that there will be any class movement.
St Bede's congratulates Ben Macintyre (Year 6) and Tea Austin (Year 2) on the arrival of their beautiful baby boys. We cannot wait to meet these precious boys. Both Ben and Tea have paid tribute to their families in the naming of their children.
Mr Macintrye will return to St Bede's in Term 4 and Mrs Austin will return in Term 3, 2023.
James Madgwick Macintrye
Ben and and Emily Macintyre are pleased to announce the safe arrival of a beautiful baby boy. James Madgwick Macintyre arrived late on Thursday 22 August 2022. This is the first child of Ben and Emily.
Anthony Robert Austin
Tea and James Austin welcomed a wonderful baby boy on Wednesday 31 August. Anthony Robert Austin was born 3.95kg and is in good health. Anthony is the second baby of Tea and James and the little brother of Florence.
St Bede's are looking to employ a school cleaner. Should you know of anyone (individual or multiple people) that would be suitable for this role, please ask them call the office to talk and meet with the principal.
Boorowa Touch and Netball Carnival
The parents of children who have expressed interest in participating in the Boorowa Touch and Netball Carnival have received an electronic permission form via Compass. Please use the Compass portal or app to provide consent for your child to attend. Please also pay for this excursion via the Qkr! App.
Congratulations and thank you to all who attended the Family Mass last weekend. It was terrific to come together and mark Fr Trenton's 7th Anniversary as a priest. Thank you to those who read and all involved in the choir. A special thank you to everyone who contributed to the morning tea.
Finally, an extra special thank you to Mrs Dwyer for organising and preparing students for the mass, and Mrs Deighton for playing piano.
If you missed out this term, please look out for the Term 4 date. In moving forward, there will only be one family mass each term.
