Staffing arrangements for 2024 are nearing the final stages. Parents will receive information about 2024 class teachers in coming weeks.

As you are aware there will be 1 Kindergarten class in 2024. St Bede's will allocate additional teaching time to Kindergarten. As such, the Kindergarten class will comprise of 2 smaller groups for a 2 hour literacy block and a 1 hour numeracy block. Mrs Fox will join Miss Mead and be responsible for the teaching of Kindergarten. We look forward to welcoming new students on Friday for Kindy-Set-Go.

St Bede's would like to wish Mr Roberts well as he takes up a teaching position in Namibia in 2024. We thank him for his contribution to St Bede's in relation to teaching Year 4, but also his time in raising the profile of sporting opportunities across the school.

Mrs Cathy Ryan will retire at the conclusion of 2023. We thank her for her many years of teaching at St Bede's and look forward to celebrating Cathy's retirement later this term. 

Please be advised that dates have now been finalised for 2024. These dates are for students and mark the first and last day.

Term 1: Wednesday 31 January- Friday 12 April

Term 2: Tuesday 30 April- Friday 5 July

Term 3: Tuesday 23 July- Friday 27 September

Term 4: Monday 14 October- Monday 16 December

Welcome to Term 4!

Just a couple of reminders from the P&F.

We have been advised that size 8 & size 10 girls sport skorts are on back order with the manufacturer. They will arrive later in the term. We have marked this item as out of stock on Qkr!.

We have a list of students who had already ordered them and these will be distributed when they arrive. If you would like to swap these for the sports shorts, come in on a Friday morning and we can help.

Our Tuckshop Queen Sarah will finish at the end of this term.

The last day of Tuckshop for 2023 will be Friday 1 December. At this stage, the Tuckshop will not continue in 2024 unless we get someone or a team to take over!

Just a reminder that due to the large numbers of students participating in the Boorowa Carnival, the Snack Shack will not be operating on Friday 20 October and all students will need to bring their own lunch on that day.
