Celebrating Success: Playground Values Reward and a New Challenge!
We are delighted to share some fantastic news with our school community! Over the past five weeks, our students have truly exemplified our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience on the playground. Their positive behavior and commitment to creating a harmonious environment have not gone unnoticed.
In recognition of their outstanding efforts, we are thrilled to announce that our students have successfully achieved the reward for showcasing these key values, a sausage sizzle. The atmosphere on the playground has been a testament to the positive impact that respect, responsibility, and resilience can have on our school community.
As we celebrate this accomplishment, we also look forward to a new challenge ahead. Our focus now turns to eating spaces, and we are excited to encourage and reward students who contribute to maintaining a clean and respectful eating environment.
To motivate and acknowledge their efforts, we are introducing a new reward – a mufti day for students who actively work towards our goal of improving eating spaces. Students can earn tickets by:
- Being in the right place for eating times.
- Staying seated until the bell signals the end of the mealtime.
- Putting rubbish in the bin and helping keep our eating areas clean.
- Speaking in a kind and respectful voice.
- Showing respect for our all staff and peers.
We are confident that with the same enthusiasm and commitment we've witnessed in the past weeks, our students will once again rise to the occasion and create a positive and respectful atmosphere in our eating spaces.
Thank you for your ongoing support in fostering a school community that values and celebrates positive behaviour. Together, we continue to shape an environment where our students can thrive and grow.
Warm regards,

Honoring Our Heroes: A Remembrance Day Reflection
Today, our school came together in a solemn and heartfelt Remembrance Day liturgy, led by the compassionate voices of Year 3G and the guidance of Mrs. Wright. It was a reverent celebration, a time for our students to connect with the solemnity of this day and to pay tribute to the heroes who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Captain Jessee Wright for his poignant reading of the Ode during the liturgy. His words resonated with all in attendance, serving as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our service men and women throughout history.
The Year 3G children played an integral role in this meaningful event, reading beautifully and demonstrating a level of maturity beyond their years. As part of our reflection, we were honored to share a slideshow of images sent in by our families, showcasing the faces and stories of their loved ones who have served in the armed forces. This powerful visual tribute allowed us to connect with the personal stories behind the uniform, reminding us that every service man and woman is an individual with a unique journey and sacrifice.
Together, as a school community, we stand united in our remembrance, ensuring that the sacrifices of our heroes are never forgotten.
Lest we forget!
As you would be aware, our volunteer tuckshop manager Sarah is hanging up the apron at the end of this month.
At the P&F meeting on Tuesday, we discussed moving the tuckshop to a Tuckshop Committee model, following the success of the uniform shop having been moved from one manager to a committee who share the load to run the shop earlier this year.
If you are interested in being involved in the tuckshop in 2024, please let the school know.
The tuckshop's last day of service will be Friday 1st December 2023 until further notice.
