Parent Conferences will be held Monday 4 December to Thursday 7 December. These meetings are optional in Term 4 and can be made via the Compass Parent Portal. The sessions are now open. To book a session, please click on more and navigate to Conferences.  If you are unable to schedule a time, please contact your classroom teacher via email.

If you met in Week 5 or Week 6 with the class teacher and Mrs Elliott, there is no need to book another meeting session.

Wednesday, December 13, 2023: End of Year Mass at the Cathedral

We have an important date for your diaries. Our End of Year Mass will be held on December 13th (Wednesday) at 10 am. This is a significant religious event in our school calendar, and we encourage all families to attend and share in this special occasion. 

Tuesday, December 12, 2023: Nativity and Carols Event

Mark your calendars for our Nativity and Carols event on December 12th, starting at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start. This will be a delightful picnic-style gathering, so we invite you to bring along some dinner and treats to share with others. The evening promises wonderful entertainment, and the entire school will participate in some way, making it a joyful and community-driven event.

Christmas Giving:

We would love donations in the form of children’s gifts. Every year St Bede’s families so generously gift either toys or money to this appeal so that children in our local community who are going without can also receive gifts at Christmas. Please know that your donations are greatly appreciated and needed. Qkr! will be set up as a means of giving money and all gifts (must be unwrapped) need to be at school by December 1^st as the process of pairing appropriate gifts with the needs of the community takes some time. In the past gifts that have been big hits are sports balls/equipment, Lego of any description and craft items. If your child would love it, that is a good sign.

We look forward to your participation in these upcoming events. Your support and involvement are integral to the spiritual growth and community spirit at our school.

Thank you to Colin and Sean for their ongoing work on the building of the deck and garden outside the hall. This grant was made possible through the Parent Engagement Program. We look forward to seeing the end product!

In 2024, the St Bede's Board and P&F will amalgamate under a new constitution to form the St Bede's Primary School Community Council. This transition has been a long time in the making and is being implemented across our system.

The impact on St Bede's will be limited and this change makes good sense. More detailed information will be shared in due course.

Thank you to the current executive and members of the Board and P&F for their service. I extend thanks to every person who has served these 2 groups so faithfully.
