We kindly request your assistance in ensuring that students are not dropped off early for school or collected late at the end of the school day.

To maintain the safety and well-being of all our students, please adhere to the designated drop-off (8.30am) and pick-up times (3.10 - 3.30pm).

Parents are invited to join us for a special St Bede's Day Mass on Friday 24 May at 12.30pm. This is an opportunity to bring our school community together in prayer, reflection, and celebration to acknowledge the feast day of St Bede. This mass will be run by Kindergarten students and will be in the St Bede's Hall.

2024 and 2025 student enrolments are progressing well. As previously advised, we are working toward achieving 2 smaller Kindergarten classes in 2025. We are also working toward 2 Year 4 classes for 2025. Parents are asked to consider the following to help achieve our target:

1. If you are a current family with kindergarten aged students, please contact the office and complete an enrolment form asap.
2. Please invite families residing in the ACT to consider St Bede's and make an appointment to visit. This can be done via our website.
3. Invite families with Year 3 students to consider St Bede's. Students who enrol at St Bede's for 3 years will have priority at all of our Catholic systemic colleges.

On Friday 24 May we will hold our Year 6 Fete Day.  After lunch our Year 6 cohort will host games and activities to raise funds for their graduation in December.  We ask families to support the day by making a payment through Qkr!.  Students will be able to participate in activities such as guessing competitions, basketball shoot out, M&M challenge, potato sack races or buy treats from the canteen.

Due to numerous treats being on offer on the day and the canteen being used by our Year 6 students, there will be no lunch orders on Friday 24 May.  As such, all students will need to bring their own lunch on the day.

Seven St Bede’s students joined with Red Hill Primary School students to participate in the Matt Giteau Cup on Tuesday. Caleb, William, Lucas, Ollie (Year 3), Francis, Bailey, Ari (Year 4) and Robert (Year 5) had a great day showing off their rugby skills and making new friends from Red Hill. All the kids were well behaved and played with a great attitude. The team picked up a win against Holy Family and went down to St Gregory’s and St Eddie’s in a tough couple of games. Well done!

Thank you to our wonderful parents who assisting in the running of our carnival. Thank you also to all who came to watch their children and make it a special day.

Thank you to our incredible staff members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. From organising events to cheering on our students, their dedication is truly appreciated. A special thank you to Elyse Charles and Jodie Heggaton for organising a great carnival.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the outstanding efforts of our students. Whether they were sprinting down the track, launching themselves in the long jump, or giving their all in every event, their determination and sportsmanship were truly inspiring.
