We ask parents to consider paying the contribution in Term 4 and other terms. We will share additional information early in Term 4 to make this payment.
We have just three weeks until our Colour Run event in Week 10. Thank you to the students who brought their sponsorship cards to school this week for a progress update. After a slow start, we are pleased to announce that families have already pledged over $5000! Now the race is on to try and raise as much as we can to earn more tickets in the major prize draw. There will also be participation and class prizes. It is a team effort. Thank you for your effort and contribution towards the upgrades to our school visual and audio equipment.

Well done to our Doves, Ducks, Rosellas, Bimbi, Peacocks and Flamingos who had their last game of the season on the weekend. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and braved those very cold mornings. Thank you to all the parents for their assistance with court set up and canteen duty. We appreciate your support and a huge shout out to all our wonderful coaches and managers too! We wouldn’t be the great club we are without you.
Finals time!
Congratulations to our Div3 Eagles and Div1 Albatross teams who have made it through to the semifinals this coming weekend! Both teams are playing at 10am at South Canberra Netball Courts, Deakin. They would love a cheer squad! All welcome!
Summer Competition
There is no Summer Competition this year as the SCNA courts are being renovated. Arawang netball club is offering South Canberra teams to join in their competition in Stirling (Tuesday/Wednesday evenings). As a school we are not entering teams as there is only limited space, however if any passionate parents wish to coordinate and enter a “friends” team, you can contact Jenny Tiffen jen@lovewednesday.com.au who will point you in the right direction. It will require the team to find their own umpires and liaise with Arawang Netball Association.
Trophies
Once all of our teams have finished finals, we will arrange a netball presentation during the morning assembly. More information to come.

Archdiocesan Assembly-"Come Holy Spirit"
You are invited to take part in the Archdiocesan Assembly that will explore the theme - "Come, Holy Spirit." This is a chance for all to gather, discuss and discern the Holy Spirit at work in our midst.
What is the Assembly?
The Archdiocesan Assembly will be a gathering of the People of God in the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn.
This Archdiocesan Assembly will be focused on celebrating the Year of the Holy Spirit, whilst also exploring new opportunities for evangelisation and synodality in the life and mission of our Church.
In many ways, the Archdiocese is walking along a similar path as the first Apostles. It took time for the early Church to discern and declare: “It seemed good to us and the Holy Spirit” (Acts 15:28)
All are invited to join us on our pilgrim journey of discernment.
What is the Core Assembly Information?
When: The Archdiocesan Assembly will be held from: Friday 18 (7:00pm) to Sunday 20 (12:30pm) October, 2024.
Where: The Archdiocesan Assembly will be offered in ‘Hubs’ across the Archdiocese, including: Canberra, Goulburn, Young, Narooma and Cooma. There is also a ‘digital’ experience offered to all in the Archdiocese.
