As planning for 2025 continues, parents are asked to reach out if they would like to discuss the needs of their child for 2025. Please note that this is not about selecting a particular teacher, but discussing important points that should be considered when constructing groups and placing students into classes.

Parents are asked to discuss considerations with Mr Casey or Mrs Fox prior to Friday 6 November. It is anticipated that teacher allocation will take place in Week 3 or 4.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to postpone our upcoming Fundraiser Event at the Southern Cross Club.  Given the busy time of year, we are unable to reschedule during Term 4. Therefore, the event has been postponed until Term 1, 2025.  We apologise for any inconvenience.  The P&F Working Group will work proactively with the school to ensure that any purchased tickets are refunded as soon as possible.  Please contact the school to organise a refund.  We look forward to gathering as a community at other events before the end of the year, including our Christmas Carols and Nativity on 12 December.

St Bede’s hosted the Colour Run on the last day of Term 3, filled with fun, mess and activity!  This event was made possible with the support of students, donors and volunteers.  We would especially like to thank Purnell Real Estate, Cyconsol, Designcraft and Fox & Bow for their generous donations:

We are thrilled to announce that the Colour Run raised $18,519.70 towards upgrades to our audio and visual equipment in the school hall.  This will include new speakers, projector, screen, microphones, controls and lighting.  What a success!

Our Colour Run Prize Assembly will take place on Monday 21 October.  We will announce the two classes with the highest average raised, major prize winners and students will select their participation prizes.  THANK YOU for your support. 

Just a reminder that due to the Boorowa Netball & Touch Carnival on Friday 25 October, there will be no lunch orders available on that day.

All students regardless of whether they are attending the carnival or remaining at school, will need to supply their own lunch.

Due to the Boorowa Sports Carnival, the Uniform Shop will be closed on Friday 25 October.  Instead the shop will be open on Thursday 24 October from 8.30 to 9.30am.

Year 6 will be holding their final graduation fundraiser on Wednesday 30th October (Week 3). You can purchase a cupcake for $3 on Qkr! (You will find the cupcake fundraiser under “School Payments”). All proceeds go towards the Year 6 graduation celebration. Make sure you get your order in before 4pm Tuesday 29th October.
