We congratulate all of our Year 3 and Year 5 students who participated in NAPLAN between 12-18 March.  We successfully completed all tests, including catch ups, this week.  Students were relaxed and responsibly completed all tests with diligence and effort.  Students participated in four tests:

• Writing
• Reading 
• Conventions of Language
• Numeracy

Students were well prepared and positive.  Thank you to Mr McNaughton, Miss Mead, Mrs Stonham, Mrs Tregoning, Mrs Elliott, Mrs Johnston, Miss Kirsty, Mrs Barbara, Mrs Pucci, Miss Mary-Lara and Mr Casey for your support and organisation. All done for another year.  Well done, everyone.  

Due to the swimming carnival and the South Weston Regional Swimming Championships, the canteen will not be open on Friday 28 March and Friday 4 April.  As such all students will need to bring their own lunch on those days.

Tess has kindly offered to open the canteen on Thursday 10 April which is the final day of Term 1, 2025.  Please note Friday 11 April is a pupil free day for staff professional development and planning.

Qkr! has been updated to not allow parents to select either Friday 28 March or Friday 4 & 11 April and to be able to select Thursday 10 April instead.

Mrs Jeffs is excited to be looking after the library this year and is looking forward to seeing lots of happy readers borrowing books each week. We love to see students exploring new stories, learning amazing facts, and enjoying the magic of books!

Library Borrowing – Three’s the Magic Number!
Each week, students can borrow up to three books to take home and enjoy. Please remember to bring a library bag to help keep books safe and in great condition. A little extra care goes a long way in making sure everyone gets to enjoy our wonderful collection.

Overdue Books – Time to Have a Look!
Over the coming weeks, overdue notices will be sent home. If you receive one, don’t worry – just have a good look at home or in your school bag. Once you find your book, bring it back to the library as soon as possible so others can enjoy it too.

We can’t wait to see everyone in the library, choosing fantastic books and discovering new favourites. Happy reading!
