In light of some recent feedback on WhatsApp, parents are reminded that the purpose of the class WhatsApp chat group is to connect parents and provide updates for the year group.  The main communicator is usually the Class Contact who assists with reiterating school messages and reminders from Compass and the newsletter.  It is also an avenue for welcoming new families and pastoral care for families that may be experiencing personal hardship.  Please remember that it is a public forum and to be considerate of tone, language and personalised comments. 

Another reminder is that teachers and the school are your primary source of information.  If you have a query or concern, we ask that you make direct contact to ensure that you receive accurate information.  When you have a last-minute query about excursions or events, you can also refer back to ‘Events’ in Compass for information regarding departure times, uniform and permission. 

Whilst the chat groups can sometimes be congested with messages or misused, they are also a highly effective and valid way for Class Contacts to send important messages and updates.  Thank you for support.   

Families are invited to donate good-quality, pre-loved sports gear and sports uniforms, which will be sold at affordable prices to raise funds for future P&F projects.

Accepted donations include:

• Football boots and Soccer boots.
• Sports uniforms.
• Balls, bats, and other equipment.
• Sports bags, jerseys, training gear, etc.
• Sports shoes (e.g. running shoes, trainers, court shoes).
• Ballet and dance items (e.g. leotards, tap shoes, jazz shoes, ballet shoes, tutus).
• Protective gear (e.g. shin guards, pads).
• Rackets and accessories (e.g. tennis, badminton, squash).
• Gymnastic leotards and gymnastics equipment (e.g. beams, air mats/tracks, bars etc).

*For safety and legal reasons we are unable to accept any helmets.
