Dear Families, 

Happy Mother’s Day to all St Bede's mothers and grandmothers. We hope that you are thoroughly spoilt by your children this Sunday.  

We would like to you extend an open invitation to our prayer gathering on Monday afternoon, celebrating mothers. Year 4 will be your host and it will begin at 2.30pm on Monday 10 May. It will be an outdoor event so that we do not need to restrict numbers and we are really looking forward to seeing lots of mothers join us. We will cross our fingers and toes that it is not raining so that it can go ahead.  

In keeping with our theme of mothers, our Year 1 students have written beautiful letters, and I wanted to share these with you.

I love you so much, you are the best Mum ever. Thanks so much for all your love in the world. Thanks for watching shows and movies with me. You are so nice. Thanks for making me smart. Love your favourite girl in the world. Elle

I love you to the edge of space and back. You are the best mum in the world. You gave me a brother and sisters. Lots of love, Xander. 

Confirmation 

Our Confirmation Family Sessions have been a fabulous highlight to our week. We thoroughly enjoy sharing this special time with our students and their parents. The students engaged in prayer through image and scripture, sharing their insights and connections. When speaking about their Saints they were able to articulate how they were inspired by them and why they chose them.  

Next Friday 14 May, is our retreat session, and Fr Trenton will join us for reconciliation. We are very lucky to have Fr Trenton Confirming our students.
