St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal will run over the next two weeks.
It is very cold outside and St Vincent de Paul help people who need warm clothes, blankets and other goodies for winter. Items need to be sent in by Monday, 21 June ready to donate before the holidays.
We are looking for all things warm and cosy to support the local community.
Kinder to Year 2 classes to bring in:
Warm gloves, large jumpers and large coats (adult sized please)
Year 3 and Year 4 to bring in:
Beanies, and scarves and warm socks
Year 5/6 to bring in:
Blankets and sleeping bags
These things can be pre loved which means it does not need to be purchased new. Of course if you have things to donate that is a focus for another class we will welcome all donations. Show us the St Bede’s Spirit!
It’s time to clean out the closets so get busy donating. You can make an immediate difference in someone’s life with this simple action.
We will put tubs out next week to collect our items each morning at assembly.
Thank you in advance. We know that the generosity of our community is always amazing.

We will organise some of the children to bring up the offering on the day.
Reconciliation and Eucharist Sacraments
We will have a brief information session for parents of our Year 4 students to explain preparation for Reconciliation and Eucharist. Information Packs will be sent home in Week 10 for anyone who cannot attend. We plan to meet in the Library at 3.45pm, Wednesday 23 June. We look forward to seeing you there.
