Term 4 is always a busy and joy filled time, with many opportunities for learning, celebration, and community connection. Please be sure to check the calendar for dates of masses, liturgies, end of year events, excursions, Carols, and more.
Please note that Friday 19 December is a Pupil Free Day. The final day for students will be Thursday 18 December.
We look forward to a wonderful Term 4!
Synthetic Grass- Safety Reminder
Work on the installation of our new synthetic grass area will commence this weekend. Temporary fencing has been erected around the site, which may impede visibility from the car park during pick up times.
We ask all parents to please take extra care when collecting children and to remain alert around the fenced areas. If you are on school grounds over the weekend, please supervise children closely, as trucks and machinery will be in operation.
The project is expected to be completed within the next two weeks. Thank you for your understanding and support as we improve our school facilities.
October - The Month of Our Lady of The Rosary
Welcome back to Term 4! What wonderful weather we have been blessed with as we begin our Term 4 adventures. It was such a joy seeing all the happy smiles as everyone returned from the recent holiday break.
Did you know that October is the Church’s official Marian month. Pope Leo XIII consecrated the entire month to Our Lady of the Rosary, urging every parish to pray five decades of the Rosary together with the Litany of Loreto from 1 October to 2 November. The Catholic Encyclopedia notes that this dedication gave rise to indulgences for both public and private recitation of the Rosary throughout October.
Here are some great ways that your family can pray together during the month of October:
- If you have Rosary Beads, find them and talk with your children about them. They are a special prayer tool.
- Follow the ‘Month of the Rosary’ grid that takes you through each of the mysteries, prayers, bible stories and activities that you can do as a family
- Learn the prayers that you say during the Rosary.
The grid and the prayer cards can be found: https://www.looktohimandberadiant.com/2020/09/month-of-rosary-editable-and-sharable.html
OR you can pick some up already copied in the foyer next to our prayer display space.
I would love to see how your family is praying the Rosary this October! I invite you and your family to share this with me and I will add this to our ‘Praying with Mary’ display in our foyer.

Have a safe and blessed weekend!

Today we were delighted to welcome our newest students as the Kindy Set Go Transition Program commenced. It was wonderful to see 50 eager children attend their very first session with excitement and enthusiasm.
The program will run over five sessions, helping our future Kindergarten students feel comfortable and confident as they begin their learning journey at St Bede's.
A special thank you to Mrs Charles, Mrs Wright, and all our support staff for their planning and care in making today such a success. We also extend our thanks to parents and families for their support and partnership as we begin this exciting transition period.
